Noel Gallagher on Adele: ‘It’s music for f***ing grannies.’

Never been one to hide what he’s truly feeling, Noel Gallagher has made it quite clear what he thinks of a world that has noel sqdescended into Adele madness.

The former Oasis rocker gave a colourful view on how he sees Adelemania, saying he thinks the music the “Hello” singer is producing is a “sea of cheese” that is only suitable for “f***ing grannies” to enjoy.

In an interview with Australian website Music Feeds, free speaking Noel said he wasn’t afraid to be honest because he believes her songs are so dull.

Noel said: “If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I’ll f***ing tell them… I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. I don’t like her music. I think it’s music for f***ing grannies…”

There is no mistaking Adele’s appeal, as she broke Oasis’s

record for the fastest-selling album in UK chart history with the release of her third album 25, stealing it away from Oasis’s 1997 effort, Be Here Now.

When asked if he enjoys listening to Adele, Noel consequently branded her genre as a “sea of cheese” and added that today’s music industry had “nosedived into f***ing blandness.”

The “Champagne Supernova” hitmaker added: “It is interesting that no-one ever talks about my love of U2 and Coldplay, but there you go. Lately, the one I’ve been asked about is Adele.”

In previous rants on the state of the music industry, Gallagher has stated that One Direction’s Harry Styles lacked “star material” and argued that former band member, Zayn Malik was a “f***ing idiot” to leave the group.

During a rather colourful interview with Esquire magazine in November, Noel said: “I’ll tell you what’s wrong. Fame’s wasted on these c***s today.

Harry Styles has got nothing to say for himself – nothing. ‘You alright, mate?’ ‘Uhhh.’ That’s it. The gig will never die because you can’t download it. You can’t download spirit.

“And, so, for the likes of me who persevered from an early age to play the f**king guitar and write songs and practice and practice and practice, I’ll be fine. God help f**king Zayn Malik.”

Who will Noel have a go at next? Only time will tell.
