Manic Street Preachers To Reissue ‘Send Away The Tigers’

manicstreetpreachers3Welsh rock legends Manic Street Preachers have announced that they will be reissuing their seminal 2007 record ‘Send Away The Tigers’. The new tenth anniversary deluxe edition of the album is set to include a special DVD featuring the band’s Glastonbury 2007 performance.

‘Send Away The Tigers’ was the Manics’ eighth studio album and one of their most commercially successful to date. The record peaked at number two in the UK Albums chart, and was supported by the hit singles ‘Underdogs’, ‘Your Love Alone Is Not Enough’, ‘Autumnsong’, and ‘Indian Summer’. The album has since been certified gold in both the UK and Ireland.

A new special anniversary edition of the album is set to be released on May 12. The record will feature a new DVD, remastered tracks, b-sides, and a number of previously unheard demos. It will also include the band’s full Glastonbury performance from that year.

In an official statement, the band said of the deluxe album: “The bookset features the original album remastered by James Dean Bradfield, unheard demos, a bonus disc of b-sides and rare tracks plus a DVD of their full 2007 Glastonbury set, promo videos and rare/never-before-seen footage from rehearsals.
