Drake Releases ‘More Life’

drake6Canadian rapper Drake has finally released his new playlist project ‘More Life’. The album debuted on Drake’s Beats 1 radio show OVO and features collaborations with Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Young Thug and Skepta.

‘More Life’ follows Drake’s hugely successful fourth LP ‘Views’ (2016) and has been in the works for the best part of a year. Dubbed a playlist rather than a studio album, ‘More Life’ is comprised of 22 collaborative tracks with some of the worlds most popular hip hop artists.

Drake released a single track from the playlist titled ‘Fake Love’ on October 29, 2016. It was also reported that the singles ‘Sneakin’ and ‘Two Birds, One Stone’ would feature of the project however, this has not been the case.

Drake hinted at the project’s release date last month; telling a UK audience: “I’m excited, ‘cos I’m about a week-and-a-half, two weeks away from finishing this project I’m working on called ‘More Life’,” Drake said. “So you know what that means, right? All that means is I get to drop a new project, and at some point, I get to be back with my people in Leeds one more time.”

The playlist has now officially been released via Drake’s OVO radio show. The record was originally intended to be an Apple Music exclusive; however, it now appears that ‘More Life’ will not feature on the streaming service.
